This is the second afghan I have crocheted using this pattern located in   “MILE-A-MINUTE AFGHANS” to Crochet, Beginner’s Guide, Leisure Arts Little Books. I chose Mint Green, Ecru, & Bright Pink as alternating colors in this easy pattern.  The instructions called for 11 strips, but I only crocheted 9 strips because I did not want as large an afghan as the pattern’s instructions,  measuring 42”x67”, worsted weight yarn, crochet hook size I (5.50mm).  I don’t know exactly how much yarn I used on this afghan, but the instructions called for a total of 52 ounces. I usually buy the One Pound Yarn skeins for most of my afghans.
